Indianapolis children are in danger of losing music classes due to the impact of the COVID-19 shutdowns on Indiana’s economy.
Music & the arts are essential to a well-rounded education as defined by federal law. However, they are among the first to cut when budgets tighten. About Music Education
Music education is a powerful way to develop students’ appreciation of music. But music education can also enhance children’s skills and abilities outside of music.
Music helps children grow in self-esteem, build essential skills, and prepare for bright futures.
What We Do
Indy Music Forever (IMF) seeks to provide young people in the field of music encouragement and support to further advance their talents through scholarships and music related opportunities.

We provide learning and growth opportunities for musically talented youth through music workshops, concerts, and/or private lessons.
Who We Serve
We currently serve Indianapolis-based youth in grades 6 through 12 who would not otherwise have the opportunity to study or pursue targeted/individual musical learning outside of the public school setting.
We support music in all forms.

Indy Music Forever (IMF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable community organization comprised of musicians and leaders who are committed to the encouragement and support of our city’s musically talented youth and developing the next generation of musical leaders.
It is our mission to assist in cultivating young musical talent in Indianapolis and the surrounding areas.
